Aisha Jamila Hinch is an American actress who is best known for her roles on the television series The Shield and True Blood. Ever since her debut in 2003, she has demonstrated her versatility as an actress, delivering remarkable performances in TV series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. Her performance on Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was her first performance to attract her interest. The film was her role as Fannie Lou (a female activist fighting for equality) for the biographical All the Way film that earned her the attention of an actor. Her portrayal of Harriet Tubman on WGN America's time-based drama Underground was equally praised. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the series for a third season. Recently Hind wrapped filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters that is set for release by mid-2019. Its premiere at Cannes Film Festival cemented her as Queen of Bollywood. She received praise for the role she played in Chokher Bali (2003) the dramatic play based on the novel of RabindranathTagore. Bachchan was the very first Indian to make it onto juries of the Cannes Film Festival. Bachchan performed in Bride and Prejudice by Gurinder Chadha. It is a ballet and musical version of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Bachchan could bring her stunning beauty and charisma in her debut English film. After the film's release, Provoked: a True Story in English, she came back to Bollywood and starred in the big-budget Dhoom: 2 (2007). She was married to Abhishek Bachchan, a co-star of the film who is the father of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage has brought two of India's most powerful personalities to one another.
